Blender 2.79a Re-Volt Add-on

Greetings fellow Re-Volters!

I thought it would be a good idea to create a topic on this forum to keep you updated about my Blender add-on.

Download and Documentation
Required Blender version: 2.79a (not 2.79). You can get it from here: https://www.blender.org/download/

You can read how to install it here.

Import and Export features:
  • Import and Export PRM
  • Import and Export W
  • Import and Export NCP
  • Import FIN
  • Import parameters.txt (only car body and wheels)
Other features:
  • Vertex painting tools
  • Automatic vertex colors (light and shadow)
  • Automatically generate a shadow texture and a shadow table for cars
  • Create texture animations for W
Coming soon (work in progress):
  • HULL support
  • FOB support
  • FIN export
Please go ahead and ask if you have any questions.
If something doesn't work, please post a screen shot or copy the error message and post it here.
I'm also glad to hear about any missing features that you'd like to see ;)

I am SO happy that you come here. :festa:
I started to use your plugin several months ago due to the fact that Jigebren's one hasn't officially been released.

As you may know, I am a huge-track maker (Ruddles County... :gnorri: ) and i found your plugin very intresting. I hope we can help you to develop it to the top.

I have several little projects based on your plugin, i have some issues on W and NCP exporting and i would like to expose you my cases.

We can discuss here on this topic or via other means.

It's always great to see people using it since that's the only way to find all bugs and issues.
Feel free to post your issues and errors you encounter here, then we can try to solve them :)

I have a problem with this project... i have set selected face to act as DIRT1

But, in game, every poly in the track seems have DEFAULT surface. No matter what surface i put (i have also deleted the old .ncp to make sure that blender HAS exported).

What am I doing wrong? :-(
