Ruddles County

Directly from the readme of this awesome map...
This was born as a tribute to a great custom map for
Midtown Madness 1, but lately it grew insanely big, it
eventually incorporated elements inspired by sandbox
games such as Grand Theft Auto, the landscape varies
like as never seen in a Re-Volt map, it has a couple
of little towns, a large redneck farm area, an
heavenly chilly glade, a harsh desert gorge and as
cherry on the top, a tallass mount called Sfrangiolive
( literally from Italian *Nutswrecker* or *Nutscrakcer* )

You can fool around alone for hours in this map, but it
really shines for online battle tag games...
This map is a free roaming level for revolt, the first one ever made for this game. It's not meant to be raced on, but to be deeply explored. From now on, this will be the official international topic for this track.

Some updates....

Brand new location, a short, narrow, winding road, climbing up to a panoramic plaza.
The plaza itself might also double as a Toshinden Battle arena, but I'm not too sure about that...

This is another new location, similar to the first one in concept as it is another panoramic point.
It is connected by a dirt road though, making a different driving experience.

And last, this is a small portion of the new forest area, which encircles the base of the huge Mont Sfrangiolive.
It was primarly created to prevent the cars from falling off the map, in case the player accidentally started rolling off the cliffs of the mount.

I might be posting more pics in the future, so stay tuned, and have fun on the good 'ol county roads :D

New juicy updates inbound!

Remeber the new woods area encircling the Mount Sfrangiolive? I've found a cost efficent way to add a secondary access to it, and that's not the best news yet!

The access road is designed to be too much steep for hauler trucks, so, having players taking this shortcut won't be to matter.
Lighter cars won't have any trouble tackling the steep hill though, allowing them to drive both ways on this new dangerous route.

This short path also incorporates a new potential hideout and lookout area for cops & robbers games!

...aaaaaaaaand, for the joy of "standard gameplay obsessed people" the current version also features a fully functional circuit around the whole map.

The two air ballons represent the starting\finish grid.
In order to run the circuit, you'll have to load the track in "reversed" mode, standard mode will have you playing on free roaming mode.

The circuit is roughly 5.7 km long, and features 5 different surface types, but the AI cars are sketchy at worst, something hard to fix when you have to use AI nodes sparingly due the extreme lenght of the racing course. No need to say that only the the slower cars are better suited for this track, the AI might have problems even with rookie level cars.
So, when this updated version will be out, you could try to beat my best time of 7:27,261 minutes with the original Adeon, possibly the third or fourth worse car you could drive on this track :P
